Do you want to write a book but don’t know where to start?
If you’ve ever dreamed of writing a book, you’ll know what it feels like to have an idea bouncing around inside your head for months or even years.
You’ll also have a million excuses as to why you think you can’t get started! “I don’t have enough time”, “I’m not good enough to write a book”, or “It’s all been said before”
I’m here to help you smash those excuses and start writing the book you’ve always wanted to work on. Together, we’ll break down the process into achievable steps and build your confidence as a writer.
I’ve helped over 70 authors of fiction, non-fiction, memoir, and children’s books navigate their writing and publishing journeys, and I’m the author of over 20 books in multiple genres.

Meet Shelley
It took me until I hit my forties to take my writing seriously and publish my first book, but once I got started, I couldn’t stop! With over twenty published books under my belt, there isn’t a lot I don’t know about the writing and publishing process. The bit that was missing for me all those years ago was accountability, and someone to help me if (when!) I got stuck. That’s the purpose and passion behind my writing mentor business. I didn’t want new writers trying and failing to write because they didn’t have all the answers, a support network, or someone cheering them on all the way through to ‘The End’.
“Shelley got it. She really got me. Without her Reboot wouldn’t be hittng the shelves tomorrow.”
– Elaine Kasket
